Environmental compliance is vital if your business is to be competitive today, and remain so tomorrow.
More and more businesses are realising their environmental obligation to lower their carbon footprint and improve environmental processes. As a result, environmental credibility is becoming a very important factor in national and international competitiveness.
ISO 14001 is the most widely recognised 'Environmental Management System' (EMS) in the world and is used by companies of all sizes and in all sectors and markets, whatever its product or service.
It specifies a set of environmental management requirements which helps your company identify, prioritise and manage its environmental risks as part of your normal business practices.
We will work with you to design, document, implement and operate a simple EMS which meets all the requirements of ISO 14001. We will design the system around your existing business and environmental practices wherever possible, helping you to establish the necessary controls to ensure you are in compliance with relevant legislation, and enabling you to identify and tend to areas where you do not comply with the ISO 14001 standard.
Once the system has been implemented, we will recommend for you the initial audit visit from a UKAS accredited external assessment body. We will then arrange for your system to be fully audited prior to the final ISO 14001 external assessment, which will usually take place within 3 months of the initial audit visit (depending on the external assessment body).
